This graphite drawing, Grit, is part of a series titled Waterflower, dedicated to the Tasman Glacier in New Zealand, following an on-site study by the artist, Hayley Byron. More broadly, this drawing corresponds with a body of work based on the water cycle.

ORIGINAL DRAWING

The original was hand-drawn with graphite on fine art paper, and is custom framed with timber and glass. The dimensions in cm are: 74.5 (width) x 58.5 (height) x 2.5 (depth), including the frame.
